A Notary Public is an individual who is authorized by the property authority to acknowdegde the signing of documents, and administer oaths. The Notary Public uses their hand (signature) and official seal (stamp) to perform these duties.

When is a Notary required?

There are many types of documents that may require Notarization. Documents involving real property such as deeds often require notarization. Affidavits, (sworn legal statements) wills, and immigration documents also often require Notaraization.
